Inside the panel
What changes inside the panel?
This is an ordinary 200 A breaker panel with Savant Power Modules added. Each module plugs in like a breaker, and its screen shows what the circuit is using. In this example each module sits right below the breaker that feeds it.
Tap a numbered module to see what Savant does for that circuit. The black switches are ordinary breakers. Each module with a screen is a Savant Power Module. In this example, each one sits below the breaker that feeds it. Use Next or the arrow keys to step through all 6.
Everything is running normally.
Tap a numbered module, or press Start.

This 200 A panel has 6 Savant Power Modules, numbered in red. Each one measures its circuit, and some also switch it or pause it when power is tight. Tap number 1, or press Start.
The Savant Power system

Power Modules
Measure, switch and manage each circuit from inside the panel you already have.

Power Storage
Batteries of 20 or 50 kWh with a 12.5 kW inverter, for backup during an outage.

Service upgrade avoidance
Load management that can keep a house on its current service when its load calculation works. Savant's version was approved in October 2026.

Where the modules go
What does it look like on the wall?
Modules go in the panel you have when there is room. When the panel is full, the electrician adds a second panel or enclosure beside it for the modules. Read the rough-in guide for the details.
Savant Power or RoseWater?
We offer both, so we can tell you which one fits the house. A licensed electrician installs either one.
Savant Power
- See and control every circuit
- Load management to stay within the service
- Battery backup with a short switchover
- EV charger, solar and generator in one app
The right answer for most homes, and for any home that wants circuit control. Modules typically run $2,000 to $10,000, and battery backup runs $10,000 to more than $100,000.
RoseWater Energy
- Always online with zero transfer time
- Power conditioning and surge protection every day
- Built for large, technology-heavy homes
- Most projects run $125,000 to $1,000,000
For homes where even a flicker is expensive. See RoseWater Energy or build a RoseWater Power Plan.
Want a generator instead? We install Generac and Kohler standby generators too, and Savant Power Storage can work with one. Get a generator quote.

Savant Power Questions
What is Savant Power?
What is Savant Power?
Savant Power is a home energy system from Savant. Savant Power Modules go in the electrical panel and measure and switch each circuit. Savant Power Storage adds a battery and inverter for backup, and the Savant app shows what the house is using and lets you control it.
Do I need a new electrical panel?
Do I need a new electrical panel?
Usually not. Savant says its Power Modules are installed in standard electrical panels, with no proprietary panel required. If the existing panel has no room, the electrician adds a second panel or enclosure next to it for the modules.
Can Savant Power help me avoid a service upgrade?
Can Savant Power help me avoid a service upgrade?
Yes, when the house's load calculation works. Savant's service upgrade avoidance was approved in October 2026. The modules can turn lower-priority loads off for a while so the house stays within its service size, which can let your electrician size the service for the managed load. Each home still needs its own load calculation, and the electrician, the inspector and the utility sign off.
Do I need a Savant control system to use it?
Do I need a Savant control system to use it?
No. Savant Power works on its own with the Savant app. If you already have a Savant home, it ties into the same system.
How is Savant Power different from a RoseWater system?
How is Savant Power different from a RoseWater system?
Savant Power Storage is a battery backup that switches the house over when the grid fails, with a short transfer. A RoseWater HUB is always online, so its circuits never see a gap, and it also conditions the power every day. RoseWater suits large, technology-heavy homes. Savant Power suits most other homes, and its modules add circuit control and load management that RoseWater does not.
Who installs it?
Who installs it?
We design the system, program it and set up the app. A licensed electrician installs the modules, panels, battery and inverter and pulls the permits. We coordinate the electrician, or work with yours.
