Custom 208 V three-phase power systems for the largest homes, estates and buildings.

RoseWater 3-Phase Systems

What is a RoseWater 3-phase system?

A RoseWater 3-phase system is a custom-built HUB for homes and buildings with 208 V three-phase service, offered as the Hub3P30, Hub3P45 and Hub3P75 at 10, 15 or 25 kVA per leg. It brings the same always-online conditioning and zero transfer time as the HUB20 and HUB40 to a much larger electrical system.

The system has two pieces: an electronics cabinet with the inverters and a Cordex controller, and a battery cabinet sized to the run time the project needs. Its inverter modules are hot-swappable, so a module can be replaced while the rest keep carrying the load.

Sizing

How is a 3-phase system sized?

A 3-phase system is sized from the building’s electrical drawings: the single-line diagram, the riser diagrams and the panel schedules. We gather those from your electrician or engineer, register the project with RoseWater’s engineering team, and work out the kVA per leg and the battery bank together.

Whole-home projects at this scale sometimes call for several HUBs or a 3-phase system plus a generator. RoseWater’s Power Plan treats these as Whole Home protection, designed case by case.

    Share the drawings

Single-line diagram, riser diagrams and panel schedules from your electrician or electrical engineer.

  2. 02

    Set the loads

We agree which panels and circuits the system carries, and how long it needs to run on battery.

  3. 03

    Engineer with RoseWater

RoseWater's engineers confirm the model, module count and battery bank before anything is ordered.

The Power Plan walks through the same load categories RoseWater uses, so we start your design with real information.

Who does what

Who installs it?

A licensed electrician makes the connection at your panel, RoseWater’s technician commissions the system, and Boston Automations designs, coordinates, programs and supports it. We manage the schedule between everyone so you deal with one team.

    Boston Automations

Builds your Power Plan, designs and specifies the system, registers the project with RoseWater's engineering team, coordinates the electrician, programs and integrates the HUB with your home's systems, and supports it for the life of the system.

  2. 02

    Your licensed electrician

Makes the electrical tie-in at your panel. If you have an electrician you trust, we work with them. If you do not, we bring in one we know.

  3. 03

    RoseWater Energy

Builds the HUB, delivers it to the install location, and sends an on-site technician to commission it. Commissioning by RoseWater-trained personnel is what starts the three-year warranty.

FAQ

RoseWater 3-Phase Systems questions

Which RoseWater systems work on a 208 V three-phase service?

Which RoseWater systems work on a 208 V three-phase service?

The Hub3P30, Hub3P45 and Hub3P75 are built for 208 V three-phase service, at 10, 15 and 25 kVA per leg. The HUB20 and HUB40 can also accept two legs of a 208 V three-phase service when that suits the loads.

How big is a RoseWater 3-phase system?

How big is a RoseWater 3-phase system?

The UPS cabinet is 84 inches high, 28.1 inches wide and 26.25 inches deep. The battery cabinet stands beside it, and its size depends on how much storage the project needs.

Where does a 3-phase system need to go?

Where does a 3-phase system need to go?

It needs a climate-controlled room. RoseWater specifies an ambient range of -20°C to 40°C for the 3-phase system, so we plan the mechanical room with your builder or engineer early.

What information do you need to size a 3-phase system?

What information do you need to size a 3-phase system?

We need the electrical single-line diagram, the riser diagrams and the panel schedules. With those, RoseWater's engineers and our team can confirm the model and the battery bank.
