Backup Power
Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands, Newport and coastal Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire and the Seacoast.
Where we work
Boston Backup Power designs and supports RoseWater Energy systems from Greater Boston to the Cape and Islands, coastal Rhode Island and southern New Hampshire. We are a division of Boston Automations, and our shop is at 83 Morse St, Unit 8H in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Each region has its own page because the problems are different. Inland homes lose power to ice and falling trees. Coastal homes deal with salt air, flood zones and storm surge. Island homes depend on undersea cables and a ferry schedule. The right system and the right place to put it depend on where the house is.

Do you serve towns that are not listed?
Usually, yes. The town lists show where we work most, not the edge of our map. Send us your town in the Power Plan or the contact form and we will tell you.
Who does the electrical work in my area?
Who does the electrical work in my area?
An electrician licensed in your state makes the connection at the main panel. We coordinate your electrician or bring in one we trust, and RoseWater technicians commission the system with us.
Can you support a system at a second home?
Can you support a system at a second home?
Yes. RoseWater HUBs have built-in remote monitoring, and alerts can go to you, to us and to RoseWater. That is a big part of why the system suits houses on the Cape, the Islands and the Rhode Island coast that sit empty part of the year.
Do You Serve My Town?
Almost certainly. Build a Power Plan or send us your town, and we will get back to you.
